Eligibility

The module is open to all students registered on a relevant degree programme. The module can also be taken as a stand-alone CPD module. If you have not previously studied at HE level 2 or level 3, an interview will be required.

Work/Clinical Placement Requirements:
  • Working in a suitable practice area

English Requirements

For those students whose first language is not English one of the
following qualifications is also required:

  • IELTS: 7.0
  • TOEFL (internet-based): 107

What will I learn?

The module will enable you to:

  • Identify and evaluate approaches to change management and consider these in relation to your own area of practice
  • Explore and reflect on approaches to management and leadership within organisations
  • Undertake an analysis of a work-based change, identifying and reflecting on management and leadership style. 

Teaching and Assessment

Mode of delivery
Teaching methods include lectures; small group, tutor facilitated reflections on work in progress and critical discussion groups.

Assessment
Assessment for the module consists of an essay.
