Making Sense of Clinical Governance CPD
The module offers you a systematic clinical framework for providing quality care to users of health services. It assists with gaining an understanding of the nature and purpose of clinical governance which places the position of the patient at the heart of service provision.
The module concentrates on the values, origins, elements and the social and political context of clinical governance. The importance of clinical governance in every aspect of professional healthcare is illustrated through the use of patient narratives.
Making Sense of Clinical Governance is the first of two modules that focus specifically on clinical governance - the UK health service framework that brings together a range of quality improvement activities to ensure high standards of care. Successful completion of Making Sense of Clinical Governance is a prerequisite for taking Clinical Governance in Action.
