Issues in Advanced Practice 1 and 2 CPD
As noted by professional bodies, working at an advanced practice level is more than just undertaking expert practice. Advanced practice accreditation by professional bodies requires you to provide evidence of a range of skills and attributes such as those indicated within the Learning and Development Framework for Clinical Imaging and Oncology (Society of Radiographers 2007) in relation to four core functions.
These core functions are:
- Expert practice
- Professional leadership and consultancy (including working across boundaries)
- Education, training and development
- Practice and service development.
