Eligibility

  • You must be a qualified nurse or midwife either in the UK or overseas.

English Requirements

For those students whose first language is not English one of the
following qualifications is also required:

  • IELTS: 7
  • TOEFL (internet-based): 100

What will I learn?

The module will enable you to:

  • Reflect upon the professional role of the ENT practitioner in developing the knowledge and skills required to provide proficient and holistic care for ENT patients and their families
  • Critically examine the disease process in ear, nose and throat from development through to degenerative changes and evaluate changes required to meet care needs
  • Critically examine the management of ENT conditions and evaluate the evidence base.

Mode of delivery consists of mixture of classroom and independent study.

Assessment
Assessment consists of a skills schedule.
