Eligibility
- You must be a qualified nurse or midwife either in the UK or overseas
- Working in a suitable practice area
- Have a clinical mentor.
English Requirements
For those students whose first language is not English one of thefollowing qualifications is also required:
- IELTS: 7
- TOEFL (internet-based): 100
What will I learn?
The module will enable you to:- Understand and critically discuss the prevalence of dual diagnosis in different client groups
- Understand the principles of harm reduction and how it can be used with people with dual diagnosis
- Acquire practical interventions and strategies that can be used with dual diagnosis clients.

Assessment
Assessment for the module consists of a practice based assessment which is supervised by a specialist practitioner.
