Eligibility

  • You must be a qualified nurse or midwife either in the UK or overseas.

English Requirements

For those students whose first language is not English one of the
following qualifications is also required:

  • IELTS: 7.0
  • TOEFL (internet-based): 107

What will I learn?

The module will enable you to:

  • Critically evaluate the relevance for nursing and midwifery of theory analysis and knowledge development
  • Reflect on the development of your practice in relation to being accountable for care delivery.

Teaching methods include lectures, group work, discussion and independent study.


Assessment
Assessment for the module consists of a two hour examination.
