- You must be a qualified nurse either in the UK or overseas working with children in an Ambulatory care unit or Emergency Department

- IELTS: 7.0
- TOEFL (internet-based): 107
What will I learn?
The module will enable you to:- Develop competence in the rapid assessment of the acutely ill child
- Revise and develop knowledge in physiological and anatomical processes affecting illness manifestation in children
- Identify research base available to inform practice of caring for acutely ill children
- Develop a wider understanding and insight into caring for acutely ill children.
Teaching and Assessment
Mode of deliveryTeaching methods include a mixture of classroom, including one session in the simulation centre and independent study.
Assessment
Assessment for the module consists of a 3000 word essay focused upon an identified area of practice based on individual need.
