Eligibility
- The module is open to any healthcare professional, with an interest in caring for older people, who has the ability to study at level 3.
English Requirements
For those students whose first language is not English one of the following qualifications is also required:- IELTS: 7.0
- TOEFL (internet-based): 107
What will I learn?
The module will enable you to:- Develop knowledge and skills in order to use appropriate assessment tools and scales in your own area of practice
- Conduct and critically evaluate an assessment of an older person using a recognised assessment tool.

Mode of deliveryTeaching methods include lectures, group work, presentations and specialist tutorial support.
Assessment
You will need to critically evaluate an assessment of an older person using a recognised assessment tool. A 3,000 word essay will be written in relation to this.
