Eligibility
- You must be a qualified nurse or midwife either in the UK or overseas.
English Requirements
For those students whose first language is not English one of thefollowing qualifications is also required:
- IELTS7.0
What will I learn?
The module will enable you to:- Enhance your understanding of the relationship between philosophy, theory, research and practice
- Identify possibilities for creatively taking forward nursing practice and to advance nursing by contributing to the debate on the nature of nursing and its development.
Teaching and Assessment
Mode of deliveryThe module is delivered over 6 weeks. Students will attend taught sessions, but will be expected to take part in weekly exercises that will feed into their final assessment.
Assessment
The assessment consists of an essay.
