The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APEL) claim is for students who do not have diploma-level credits, but wish to take a 'top up' degree level programme.

Eligibility
- This process is for healthcare practitioners with level 1, but insufficient level 2 qualifications.
What will I learn?
The module will enable you to:With reference to the Knowledge and Skills Framework students will demonstrate the following Diploma (Level 2) characteristics:
- Present evidence which is appropriately referenced. Use a recognised system of references
- Gather, analyse and provide a rationale for their health care practice, using a range of sources
- Discuss relevant research to their practice and outline health care agendas as appropriate
- Reflect on personal performance and indicate achievements as well as areas to develop
- Consider professional behaviour and roles and team working relevant to area of practice.
