Finsbury and Heyworth Halls

Quality accommodation in central London, low in price, high in customer service, on the site of Finsbury Residences. We have single study bedrooms with washbasins available to individuals and groups over the summer vacation.

Whilst the residence does not have an on-site restaurant, meals can be purchased in the City University London level 1 refectory and other catering facilities at main site. Please enquire for opening times. There is also a wide range of cafes, bars and restaurants in the immediate area to suit all tastes and budgets.

Finsbury Residences at City University London offers the following:

320 single rooms containing fitted wardrobe, desk and washbasin
daily serviced rooms
bed linen supplied and changed weekly
towels supplied and changed every 3 days
shared shower and WC facilities on all floors
communal areas maintained daily
telephone in each bedroom for incoming and outgoing calls (phonecards can be purchased at reception)
two equipped kitchens per floor available daily 6.00am – midnight
two large fridge/freezers, two cookers, kettle and microwave in all kitchens (kitchen utensils not provided)
large common room with television and vending machines
coin operated launderette on site
24-hour security for peace of mind
arrival date check-in from 2pm, departure date check-out 10am

Finsbury Residences is situated in Bastwick Street, 5 minutes walk from the main University buildings and adjacent to the Saddler’s Sports Centre and Peartree Court.

The nearest underground station is Barbican (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan Lines)

By bus

By car

Parking in the roads surrounding the University is on parking meters. The nearest National Car Park to Northampton Square is on Skinner Street, off St John Street.

By train

Nearest train stations are Kings Cross, Kings Cross St Pancras, Euston, Moorgate and Liverpool Street.
