City Launch Lab Housewarming Party!

We have just moved in to a brand new absotudelutely fantabulous home on campus. To celebrate this and the successes of our resident startups we are putting on a Housewarming Party from 4-8pm on Thursday 9th February. Sing up here to see the space, have a drink or two and meet all of our wonderful entrepreneurs.

Check out our case studies for startups that have taken off from our Launch Lab.

How can we help?

Lotta is The City Launch Lab Manager and responsible for developing the support services for residents. Regular Catch up sessions with Lotta are held to make sure residents are on track, heading towards their goals and that they are receiving enough support to develop and grow!

Launch Lab Meetups

So that all residents can stay up to date with each other's start-ups and start-downs we have a monthly session to deal with just that! The monthly Launch Lab Meetup is where residents get the chance to share their tips/tricks and solve any problems together with their fellow residents. This session kicks off with a different topic or exercise each month to ensure that we learn and grow together.

Friday Pitching

For our monthly Friday Pitches our Launch Lab residents get a chance to practice and perfect their pitches with feedback from fellow residents as well as VIP guests.

Who can apply?

City students and graduates can apply to use the space to develop their ventures for up to 12 months. If you are launching or have recently launched your venture and want the support of a startup community, this could be for you!

The main purpose of The City Launch Lab is to help students and graduates of City University London in the early stages of development - it is not a suitable incubation space for established commercial ventures. If you are selected to join the space we will work with you to establish your business goals and coach you through achieving these objectives. 12 months isn’t that long and we want to make sure that you make the most of your time as residents.

Do you want to get involved?

We are always looking for amazing people to add to our Startup-friend-circle. If you think you have any superpowers, skills or expertise that our residents might benefit from, please get in touch and tell us what they are!

Potential opportunities with us:

Startup Mentors

For each cohort we pair our new Startups with a mentor for a period of 6 months to help them work towards their residency goals. If you have an hour or two to spare every month and would like to spend that time supporting one of our passionate Startups please tell us more about your experience here.

We provide training for all of our mentors.

City Launch Lab community support

For those of you that have a little less time to spare but would still like to get involved we organise regular sessions on various topics for our residents. If you are interested in holding a one-hour workshop, watching pitches and providing feedback or taking part in a speed mentoring session please email us and come in for a chat!
