Dasun Weerasinghe

Dasun Weerasinghe, Research Fellow, CeRC

Dasun WeerasingheDasun Weerasinghe is a researcher at the City eHealth Research Centre. He completed the bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a First Class honours and presently, he is at the final stage of his PhD at the City University London. His main research interests are in security, trust and mobile distributed systems, and in particular, identification and authentication. He has presented his research ideas and results at various international conferences and has conferred several journal publications. Dasun has worked with a number of international research groups and served as a member of technical committees and organizing committees for a number of international conferences. He is a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Information Technology in Biomedicine. Dasun has over 6 years' commercial and industrial experience as a Software Engineer and also he works as a visiting lecturer at the City University London. He is a member of the British Computer Society and a student member of the Institute of Information Security Professionals..
