Our main aim

To be the best in all that we do ? bringing together academic rigour with the world of practitioners, preparing our students to be successful, demonstrating excellence and innovation in all our enterprises, and serving London as the University for business and the professions.

What we do as an organisation

  • Meet the changing educational needs of individuals, employers and society.
  • Improve further our excellence in education, especially professional education, and to extend the range.
  • Increase high-quality research activity that influences strategy, policy and practice.
  • Enhance our reputation and effectiveness.

What we did as part of the Celebrating Enterprise project

  • City University developed a range of courses aimed at enhancing the capacity and sustainability of small and medium scale cultural organisations, particularly those operating in the festival and community event sector.
  • City University led the research and evaluation activities that took place throughout the duration of the project.
  • City University was the lead partner of the Celebrating Enterprise partnership.  In this role City University co-ordinated the overall delivery of the project, liaised with funders and supported partner organisations.
