Target audience 

The fair will be aimed at all our undergraduate students who are thinking of pursuing a career in the Banking, Finance, Accountancy and Consultancy sectors and it will also be open to postgraduate students from Cass Business School, who are thinking of applying for graduate schemes. First year students are encouraged to attend so that they can research organisations and vacation opportunities. Aim of the event

Our aim is to help both our students and recruiting companies and organisations by giving them the opportunity to meet and discuss recruitment plans and practices. We hope the event will be a chance for you to share with prospective applicants what you expect of them and how they can make the most of their applications to you.

Students would expect to meet with company representatives as well as human resources/recruitment staff who are well informed about the organisation and able to provide insight into the job tasks, company culture and career paths you offer.

Attendance and Marketing 

This is one of our largest recruitment fairs on campus, and is early in our Autumn Term, when interest from students is at its height. Furthermore, we are running the fair on a Wednesday afternoon, when no lectures are being held at the University (all lectures finish at 12/1pm) to ensure maximum attendance. The fair will be broadly advertised on our website and intranet, through email alerts to academic departments and students and via brochures and posters around campus.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to raise your profile on campus and generate high quality applications across all disciplines at the very start of the recruitment season, ensuring that final and pre-final year students are aware of you and your graduate vacancies and work experience opportunities.
