Fairs at City

Why students attend
Students go to meet with human resources/recruitment staff as well as recent graduates who have joined your organisation, i.e. representatives who can give an insight into the job tasks, company culture and career paths you offer. On some occasions, students bring their CV and would like for you to check it to see what they need to do/complete in order to be considered for a position.
They also like to meet and network with City alumni, and we therefore welcome all City graduates currently working in your organisation to get involved in the fair.
Fair Promotion
The fairs are advertised across campus a few weeks before the actual event date. Details of a fair are distributed through the following media:
- the Careers website
- the news section of the main City University page
- Citynews Bulletin to students
- City CareersHub, our online Careers portal for students
- large posters across main campus and within the careers library
- email shots to all students and departmental staff
Fair Catalogue
Our exhibitor package includes your company entry in a fair catalogue. Copies will be available to students in print and online before and after the fair.
You will also have the opportunity to place additional advertisement within the brochure to enhance your brand image and marketing before and after the fair.
Fair Sponsorship
Sponsoring a fair is a great way to show your interest towards our students and enhancing your brand awareness to them. We are open to suggestions on how you see your brand and image can be advertised, to enable maximum exposure. A fair sponsorship usually covers:
- free and central stand space in the fair venue
- your logo on all advertising material (in print and online)
- backside colour advert on the fair brochure and front page company logo
- your logo with thank you message and link to your website on Careers Website main page
- your literature available in central location at the Career and Skills Development Service
