Top tips: How to make the most of the City Law Fair

- There will be two sessions of the same presentation running: 12.00 - 12.50 & 1.00 - 1.50 (you can attend which ever session suits you best)

- If you are unable to attend you must email careersevents@city.ac.uk within 24 hours of the event. Online booking closes at 9am on the day of the event. After this you will asked to register on the door.

These sessions will be run by our experienced Careers Consultants and will cover:
- How to research the companies prior to the fair
- How to introduce yourself and start a conversation
- What questions can you ask to make an impression
- What is the best way to ask for someone’s contact details
- Ways to finish a conversation
- What can you expect to get from the fair according to your year and level of study
- Appropriate dress code
Attendance at one of the sessions above will entitle you to a VIP entry pass for the first hour of this as well as any other fairs that are held on campus this academic year! This is a rare opportunity to meet lots of companies within just a couple of hours! Make sure you are prepared to make the most of it and impress the employers who will be attending!
PLEASE NOTE: Only students who attend these preparatory sessions can gain entry to the fair for the first hour (1.30-2.30pm).
And remember: Be prepared, be professional.
