We operate an online service full of employment opportunities whether you are looking for a graduate role, a placement, a summer internship or a part-time job to support you during your studies.

  • browse vacancies.

As a current student, you can log in with your City ID and password.

Recent graduates should contact the Careers office at careers@city.ac.uk for guidance on logging in.

Unitemps

Unitemps

Unitemps offers students and recent graduates the chance to gain paid employment both at City and externally.

The service operates online, where you can register, view and apply for vacancies, and complete your online timesheet following assignment.

How does it work?

  1. To view available positions, please select 'City' under 'Browse Unitemps'.
  2. Click 'Register with Unitemps' to create your online record and upload your CV. Make sure you select City as your branch in order to receive email notifications of all job opportunities
  3. If you're interested in a job and meet all the requirements, please attach a cover letter and your CV.
  4. Our Unitemps team will contact you if you have been successful in your application.

Santander Internship

Santander Internships

The Santander Universities SME Internships and Work Placements 2015/16 programme is now closed. The 2016/17 programme open for registration in September 2016.

In 2015/16 City students worked on a variety of roles in Finance, Legal, Digital, Marketing, Journalism and Business Operations where they gained invaluable experience and developed their employability skills.

The SME Internship Programme is available to students enrolled in the final year of their course and recent graduates (up to two years). Unitemps works with local SMEs to develop internship opportunities and the roles are advertised on the Unitemps website.

What are the benefits?

You can gain valuable first-hand experience by contributing to a business where your drive and education can make a tangible impact. You'll enjoy a varied role, lots of responsibility and often work alongside the founders of the company. If you want to kick-start your career and build valuable experience fast, this is a great way to do it.
