Work Shadowing Scheme 2012

Feedback from students at City has shown that students increasingly want innovative ways to engage with employers, with more “real life” exposure to industry. Our Work Shadowing Scheme has been developed in response to this, to offer our students an opportunity to shadow a professional for one day who has specific knowledge about an occupation or career in which they are interested.

The Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey is underway. The survey provides the University with invaluable information about employment and further study circumstances of its recent graduates. All UK Higher Education institutions are required to conduct this survey, whose findings help shape the Universities’ employability tables.

We are asking for just 2 minutes of your time when we contact you to carry out the survey. Alternatively you can do the survey online now.

Professional Mentoring Introduction Evening

The Professional Mentoring Scheme matches City undergraduates with experienced professionals who help to develop their skills, confidence, and future employability. Most of these mentors are City alumni who give back to the University by supporting current students.
