The publishing process

The focus of this module is a summative, groupwork publishing project which allows you to apply the knowledge and skills gained during all of the taught components of the MA by defining, developing and presenting a publishing concept.

The project reflects the structure and current commercial issues within the publishing industry.

It also provides a focus for you to reflect upon gains made in levels of practice-related learning through the year, in both group and individual achievements.

Our project focus in 2010-2011 was a children’s publishing concept, with both print and e-components.
