Materials of tonal music

You will receive a practical introduction to tonal harmony in order to enhance your understanding of the structure and presentation of music informed by tonal principles.

Your music-analytical skills will be developed in relation to major/minor music through a series of exercises in rhythmic, melodic and harmonic analysis, rudiments of music, score-reading, figured bass, and melodic and harmonic writing.
