Composition 2 & 3

This elective module, taken in year 2 or 3, examines the issues involved in writing and arranging compositions for voices and/or instruments.

Through the completion of a number of pieces for performance by fellow students and professional musicians you will engage your creative imagination with the technical discipline needed to convey ideas to the performer via musical notation.

The emphasis is on creative work, examined through performance and discussion.
