Composition

This module introduces basic elements of compositional thinking through practical experiment with a range of contemporary techniques and approaches, via workshops and tutorials.

You will write pieces for solo instruments and small ensembles which will be performed and discussed in class workshops. Specific practical challenges will develop your creative thinking about music.
