Advanced practical journalism in broadcast

The aim of this module is to enable you to learn skills of broadcast journalism to a professional level.

By the end of the module you will be able to:

• compile a radio news bulletin
• produce a packaged news report
• understand how a radio newsroom works
• research and produce a documentary feature
• understand and practice broadcast production techniques.

(Journalism & a social science students take either this module or advanced practical journalism – print. Single Honours students take both.)
