Contemporary criminology

You will be introduced to the interdisciplinary theoretical perspectives used in criminology and will gain the relevant conceptual knowledge to formulate a critical understanding of developments in crime and crime control.

The seminars/workshops for this module will focus on the relationship between research findings and the substantive theoretical areas that constitute contemporary criminology.

You will work with the interdisciplinary developments that both challenge and reinvigorate criminological thinking.
