Overview
Yvette Prestage joined the Centre for Comparative Social Surveys at City University London in July 2012. As a member of the Core Scientific Team, she is involved in a wide range of activities, including designing and testing new survey questions, monitoring fieldwork in a number of countries, and the dissemination of survey findings.
Prior to joining, Yvette worked for NatCen Social Research where she was responsible for coordinating and managing a variety of different project tasks for two complex and influential surveys, namely the Workplace Employment Relations Study (WERS), and the Offender Management Community Cohort Study (OMCCS).
She has a strong background in crime and justice research, and has a particular interest in offender rehabilitation. Yvette has previously worked as part of the research team at Kent Police, and has an MA in Criminology from the University of Kent and a BSc (Hons) in Psychosocial Science and Management from the University of East Anglia.
