Overview

In his Sales in publishing module, Max Adam draws on his extensive experience in several publishing sectors at senior management level as well as his early career in domestic and international sales and marketing.

His most recent role was MD, Educational Publishing of Scholastic UK Ltd - an educational publishing company employing 90 staff based in Leamington Spa and London.

He was previously MD for Mary Glasgow Magazines and Cadogan Guides, and MD Designate at Languages Online Ltd. His early career was spent at OUP then Penguin, where his final role was Vice President, International Sales and Marketing Division. Before he entered publishing, Max worked as a successful ELT teacher.

He joined the teaching team at City in 2006-7, and was a frequent visitor on previous City MA courses, lecturing on International Sales and Marketing.
