Overview

Linda Lewis is an award-winning broadcaster whose journalistic career spans print, TV and radio. She started out in local newspapers in the West Country as a trainee with Mirror Group before moving to the BBC where she worked for 20 years as a reporter, presenter and producer in national TV and radio news and current affairs. She reported for BBC TV News on headline news and breaking stories for over a decade. She was a regular daily presenter on the PM programme and You and Yours on Radio 4 for four years; she has also worked for international broadcasters in Japan and Switzerland and has written on business issues and education for various magazines and national newspapers.

Linda is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has a PGCHE (Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from Westminster University. She has a degree in Politics from Lancaster University.

She has previously taught at Regent's University London, teaching international business undergraduates about finance and the media.

Teaching

Linda has run City's TV Journalism, Political Journalism and Investigative Journalism MA courses.
