Overview

Dr Qureshi joined City in 2010 having previously worked at Loughborough University and Anglia Ruskin University as a lecturer in Criminology. She completed her PhD in 2008 (from Loughborough University) on Police Stop and Search Powers.
 
She is currently conduting research in collaboration with Sussex Police on Counter-Terrorism strategies and is working on her book 'Introduction to Statistics for Social Sciences' (with Dr Gareth Norris, Aberyswth University).

Research interests

Dr Qureshi's research interests include: police strategies and management; the British Crime Survey; repeat victimisation; and counter-terrorism strategies.
