Rayan Ismail (Economics 2007) is our alumni group coordinator for Lebanon. He is the founder of Fly-Foot (featured in City Magazine 2012), a company that designs travel packages for football fans from the Middle East to watch live games across Europe.
Flyfoot has established subsidiary offices in Madrid and London; Rayan's fellow alumnus Georges El Batrouni (Economics 2007) is the London Office Manager.
Rayan says: "I spent a wonderful year at City, and am keen to stay in touch with my fellow alumni in Lebanon and elsewhere. I'm a very active person in society and would love to channel this towards helping prospective Lebanese students.
Lebanon is host to many entrepreneurs. The recent financial crisis has steered an increasing number of young Lebanese towards entrepreneurship. Establishing strong ties between alumni in Lebanon will help us utilise this new trend.
Organising events that promote City's various programs will also help us direct the increasing number of students wishing to study abroad to this great university."
Cass Business School
Joseph Gemayel enjoyed his experience at Cass and would like to promote the Business School and hear from fellow alumni in Lebanon and the Middle East.
