Payal Kumar (Counselling Psychology 2011) is currently working as a Psychological Therapist for Camden Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) and is a qualified Counselling Psychologist and Social worker registered with the Health Professionals Council, the British Psychological Society and the General Social Care Council.
Payal has studied in India and the U.K. and has been residing in London for the past eight years.
Payal says: "I am very interested in assisting students who would like to pursue a career in Psychology. Of special interest to me are students from India as there was a dearth of advisers when I started the application process for City myself. In addition, the currency conversion rates make it a challenging process for Indian students and the decision to study abroad comes attached with many doubts and worries".
