Mobeen Rana (Bar Professional Training Course 2015) is based in Lahore. He is currently a Barrister at the leading corporate and commercial law chambers Hassan and Hassan Associates.

About me:

After completing my LLB (Hons) at the University of London and BPTC at City, I was called to the Bar of England & Wales at The Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn.

Why I am an Ambassador:

I would like to organise an annual spring gala lunch / dinner, a biannual alumni drinks reception and alumni tours of the beautiful gardens and historic monuments in Lahore.

I would also like to liaise with other City ambassadors around the world to ensure Pakistani alumni can connect with them visiting those countries.

Vishal Shamsi (LLM in Professional Legal Skills 2015) is based in Karachi. She is currently a Legal Advisor and Mediator at theNational Centre for Dispute Resolution.

About me:

After completing the Bar Professional Training Course I did LLM in Professional Legal Skills, both at City Law School in London.

Today I work as a legal practitioner, mediator and dispute resolution trainer for the National Centre for Dispute Resolution (NCDR) in Karachi, Pakistan.

Why I am an Ambassador:

Being a student at the City was one of the most memorable things of my life and as a
proud alumna I would like to help out and represent the City family in whatever capacity I can.

I'd like to set up a WhatsApp group and arrange meetups and networking dinners so that the
alumni can get together, reminisce and work together. If you wish to be a part of it get it touch!
