Over 100,000 former students (nearly 4,000 from the School of Informatics alone) keep in touch with each other and the University through our Alumni Network.
Benefits and activating your membership
The network is free to join (you are automatically made a member on graduation) and it can be useful to you at all stages of your career. As a City alumnus you will receive:- Continued access to the library
- Access to Careers Network Online, a database of over 1,000 alumni on hand to give you realistic advice about breaking into a particular field or developing your career
- Careers support for up to three years after you graduate
- Invitations to professional networking receptions, high-profile speaker events and reunions
- Bi-monthly e-bulletins and an annual magazine
- Access to the City Alumni Facebook and LinkedIn groups
- Discounts off a variety of services including membership of Saddlers Sports Centre, prescription glasses and facilities hire
If you plan to move abroad after your studies, the Alumni Network can help you stay connected with the University through one of
our International Groups; we currently have over 40 based worldwide.
