City's Greatest Need
Many of our donors choose to direct their gift towards City's Area of Greatest Need, giving us the flexibility to fund projects according to the highest priority. These donations help to broaden the types of initiatives that the City Future Fund is able to support, such as extra-curricular activities, pastoral support and entrepreneurship.
CitySpark is the annual student enterprise competition for all students, as well as recent graduates, at City, University of London.
Unlike other university business plan competitions, which focus on pitching ideas and persuading a small panel of judges and investors, often with little evidence or no real world traction behind them, CitySpark is all about finding problems, identifying real gaps in the marketplace and building evidence-based start-ups right from day one.
The five winning teams will win £3,000, donated by the City Future Fund, and an invitation to the CitySpark Summer Accelerator, to put these ideas into practice. The prize directly benefits the winners by helping them to kick start a new business idea, as well as creating a vibrant and thriving culture of student enterprise and entrepreneurship at City to benefit all future students.
