- The form must be completed by the deadline, otherwise we cannot guarantee your SA.
- If any of your exams fall outside of the main exam periods we will contact you separately.
- Emails will arrive from exams@city.ac.uk, please add this address to your email contacts.
When are my exams?
- We do not send out individual timetables to students.
- Please check the main timetable for your exam dates and times.
- Your SA exams will start at the same time as for every student taking that module, but will take place in a different room.
Evening Exams
SA students with evening exams will sit their exams beginning at 14:30 to accommodate extra time allowances.
Where are my exams?
- SA students sit their exams in a different room to the main group.
- SA rooms are usually located in the Tait building, and are smaller in size.
- The SA rooms seat students with a variety of exam arrangements.
- All SA rooms are wheelchair accessible and close to toilets.
How do Yellow Stickers work?
- These stickers ask the marker to make sympathetic allowances for spelling and expression.
- Students who have been diagnosed as having a Specific Learning Difficulty are permitted to place Yellow Stickers on their answerbooks.
- These stickers can be obtained from Learning Success.
- The Exams Office does not hold Yellow Stickers, and will not provide any in the exam venue.
- Invigilators will explain at the start of each exam how to attach the stickers.
How does Rest Break Time (RBT) work?
- RBT can only be used to take rest breaks from writing your exam.
- During RBT you must not write or communicate with anyone.
- RBT should be taken in the SA venue.
- Invigilators should be informed when you start RBT.
- Invigilators should be informed when you wish to resume your exam.
- The amount of RBT you have will be displayed at the front of the room next to your desk number.
How can I change my arrangements?
If you would to amend your arrangements please contact Learning Success at the Student Centre to make an appointment. Please allow at least a month before your exams to request any amendments to your arrangements.
