Where Education comes to life...

Each year, the LDC holds several events designed to help staff to disseminate their practices to others, and celebrate successful initiatives, research and work. These events also provide excellent opportunities for staff members to network and meet colleagues from areas of the University's which they may not usually come into contact with.
The main events in the calendar for 2012-13 are listed below, and each has a page dedicated to it. You can view these pages by clicking the links, although some will have missing information where details not yet confirmed.
1. Researchers' Development Days (RDD)
The Researchers' Development Days are one day conferences specifically for research students and early career researchers to learn about various aspects of research from senior academic staff.

2. Learning at City Conference & Exhibition 2013
The Learning at City Conference is a one day conference at which members of staff present papers on their own good learning and teaching practice.
6th June 2013 | 9am - 6pm
3. Researchers' Symposuim (RS)
This event provides the opportunity for PhD students to present findings from their work to a supportive audience.
4. Learning at City Journal Launch Events
The next edition of the Learning at City Journal will soon be published and to celebrate we'll be opening the new LDC offices in Goswell Place.
We'll be inviting all those who contributed articles to the most recent edition, but anyone who is interested is welcome to come along. There will be some refreshments available and the first print run of the new edition of the Journal will be ready for distribution.
