Progress
Doctoral candidates are subject to the University's minimum and maximum periods of candidature according to the category under which they are registered. Candidates are expected to dedicate a minimum period of time to their research study in order to ensure successful and timely completion and are reminded to familiarize themselves with their roles and responsibilities and those of their supervisor(s). Continuation is subject to confirmation of satisfactory progress through the annual progress review. A candidate may have the right to appeal against a decision by a School Board of Studies concerning their registration status should they meet the criteria set out in the University's Appeals Policy and Regulations.
