Statistics Highlights

Our excellent graduate employability was recognised by The Sunday Times University Guide and the Times Good University Guide, both placing City within the top ten universities in the United Kingdom for Graduate Prospects in 2011. We are also a popular choice for prospective students, being ranked 8th with regard to competition for places by the Sunday Times University Guide 2011.

80% of City students who responded to the 2010 NSS were satisfied with the overall quality of their course - a 3% increase from 2009. Our staff were also highly commended by students, with 88% of students agreeing that 'Staff are good at explaining things'.

Last year there were more than 17,000 students registered at City, with a further 3,600 studying at our validated institutions.
