The University and College Union (UCU) is the recognised union representing university teachers, researchers and professional staff in the administrative, library and computing services.
UCU was been formed by the amalgamation of the Association of University Teachers (AUT) and NATFHE in June 2006 to become the largest trade union and professional association for academic and academic-related staff in the UK.
